高強(qiáng)鋼是彩涂產(chǎn)品的發(fā)展趨勢之一，目前國外使用比較多的是屈服強(qiáng)度為350等級(jí)的彩涂鋼板。生產(chǎn)這類強(qiáng)度的鋼板通常有兩種工藝，一是采用碳錳鋼，在煉鋼時(shí)采用C、Mn等強(qiáng)化元素，并利用強(qiáng)大的熱軋、冷軋軋制力來生產(chǎn)相對較薄的高強(qiáng)彩涂鋼板，像馬鋼等國內(nèi)外全流程鋼廠（礦石到成品）都采用這樣的生產(chǎn)工藝。另一種方法就是通過降低熱鍍鋅機(jī)組的退火溫度，使材料沒有完全退火，還部分保留軋硬態(tài)來提高強(qiáng)度，目前國內(nèi)多數(shù)鍍鋅及彩涂廠是采用這個(gè)工藝，因?yàn)樗麄儧]有煉鋼工序，在市場上購買軋硬卷或熱軋板也沒有相應(yīng)的高強(qiáng)鋼種。

高強(qiáng)度PCM彩涂鋼板基材為高強(qiáng)度鋼板，高強(qiáng)度鋼板正面設(shè)有鈍化層，鈍化層上涂有底漆層，底漆層上涂有水性輥涂面漆層。采用高強(qiáng)度鋼板生產(chǎn)PCM彩涂鋼板，鋼板的屈服強(qiáng)度YP≥400Mpa，抗拉強(qiáng)度TS≥450Mpa。如使用普通鋼板生產(chǎn)，需要0.5mm以上厚度才能滿足使用要求，而使用高強(qiáng)度鋼板生產(chǎn)，0.4mm以下厚度就可達(dá)到同樣的性能要求,從而可以降低冰箱的生產(chǎn)成本，具有強(qiáng)度高、不易變形等特點(diǎn)。鋼板的表面上使用水性輥涂漆可以使生產(chǎn)過程環(huán)?；?/font>、表面硬度高，豐滿度好。

一般工業(yè)建筑的設(shè)計(jì)使用年限為15-20年，馬鋼彩涂鋼板在設(shè)計(jì)年限內(nèi)是不需要更換的。馬鋼普通（PE）彩涂板的建筑，使用時(shí)間已經(jīng)10年，到目前為止顏色、涂層等性能變化并不大，彩涂板完好無損。但如果采用一般的彩涂鋼板，使用壽命通常為3-5年，甚至更短，在設(shè)計(jì)期內(nèi)至少需要更換2次。

由于馬鋼彩涂板良好的實(shí)物質(zhì)量，在市場上馬鋼彩涂板的價(jià)格比一般低價(jià)彩涂板貴幾百元一噸，但是如果按一般彩涂板在設(shè)計(jì)使用年限內(nèi)更換一次測算的話，使用馬鋼彩涂板的成本只是一般彩涂板的60％左右。由此推算馬鋼彩涂板的售價(jià)可以比一般彩涂板售價(jià)貴50%左右，這還不考慮其它影響，如對企業(yè)形象影響，更換維護(hù)時(shí)對生產(chǎn)影響等。
