家電板使用以平面為主，因此對板形平直度的要求非常高。特別是冰箱往往將側(cè)面板和頂板連在一起，使用面積較大，而且隨著冰箱容量的增加會越來越大，長度可能達到4m以上，超過了一般鋼板的長度，成品板形稍有浪形或瓢曲就會出現(xiàn)涂漆不均勻、鋼板邊部漏涂以及涂漆后表面反光差異等問題，一般要求板形低于2~3IU。
